Reviews & Feedback

This guide will show you how to request and receive feedback via reviews.

Completing reviews for project phases is essential to your team's overall success. Reviews provide many benefits to your company and team where you will be able to:

  • Gain insight into phase progress and data science initiatives.

  • Share phase outcomes with stakeholders.

  • Receive feedback from stakeholders and subject-matter experts on your initiatives.

We will show you how to get started.

How to review a phase

The project phase must have an Owner to enable reviews. Phases Owners and Workspace Admins can solely request reviews from workspace members.

To initiate a review, select the Reviews tab within your phase. Select Request a Review > Select your reviewer > Add a message (optional) > Send Request.

The reviewer will receive a notification stating that you have requested a review for a phase.

Review Status

For a quick overview of review statuses for each project phase, there is an indicator showing whether the phase is Not Reviewed, Pending Review, Approved, or Rejected. You can also view the review status within the phase next to the Reviews tab.

Providing feedback

Once someone has requested a review, you will receive a notification in Vectice showing who requested a review and the name of the phase that needs review.

Select the notification to access the review page. You can add a comment to provide feedback or ask questions. You could also select the Submit Review button to add feedback and approve or reject the phase progress.

Below is an example of a feedback loop between Diane Jones (Lead Manager) and Amy Smith (Data Scientist) in which Diane approves the review.

And the Project Overview also reflects the status.

Now that you've learned how to request and receive feedback via the Review process, let's take a look at how to monitor the project's overall progress in the Monitoring Progress section.
